Neurological Disorders
A Neurological Disorder is any disease, injury or disorder
affecting the nervous system.
Our multidisciplinary approach allows patient relief
of their neurological symptoms comfortably.
How We Treat Neurological Disorders

We aim to improve function, reduce symptoms and enhance the overall well-being of our patients. Since there are many different ways to cause dysfunction in the nervous system, we do not base our treatments on the condition, but rather the symptoms presented.
Each patient will go through a detailed neurological and vestibular exam to determine appropriate treatment based on symptoms and diagnostic results. During this initial assessment, you can expect to be evaluated on balance, gait, cognition, vestibular function, speech and more.
Our Neurological & Neuro-Developmental
Rehabilitation Programs Involve:

Who we can help!
Acquired Brain Injury
Research has shown we can grow neuronal pathways using multi-modal applications… Meaning we can alter the way our brain functions through neuroplasticity!
Let us help you relearn tasks and activities to improve your quality of life!
Neuro-degenerative Disorders
We pair traditional therapies with cutting edge neurostimulation to increased neuroplasticity.
We treat those with Alzheimer’s, multiple sclerosis, multiple system atrophy, spinocerebellar ataxia, Parkinsons, spinal muscular atrophy and more!
Although these conditionals cannot be cured, we can help slow progression and maintain independence.
Stroke
Our stroke program aims to regain function in the skills impaired following a stroke.
Depending on which area of the brain was affected, rehab can help with spasticity weakness, lack of coordination, walking, balance, loss of sensation, visual loss, trouble speaking or understanding.
Research reveals that functions previously located in the area of damage move to other brain regions. Repetitive practice helps drive this rewiring of brain circuits (called neuroplasticity).
Ataxia
Ataxia is a general term for disorders which affect coordination, balance, dizziness and speech.
In most cases, vestibular rehabilitation is the primary therapy.
This is because vestibular exercises help the area of the brain responsible for stability and integration of the vestibulo-ocular reflex (VOR).
